SAFW

Seeing that I am a new comer to the fashion world as well as fashion week , I didn’t really know what to expect. To many, fashion week is the norm, but to me it was a totally new experience. The surprising part about the experience though was that I fit right in with all the eccentric, over the top fashion loving enthusiasts. Fashion events are always glamorous, but there is just something about a fashion show that defines my love for the industry.

Mishie was definitely the perfect date choice for the evening, I mean when is it ever a bad thing to have a pretty photographer at your side.  We attended the Amanda Laird Cherry, Clive Rundle and Lunar show on the second day of fashion week. We were a tad late but it seemed to work out in our favour,as we ended up standing front and center of the runway.

Each designer had there own look, and were not grouped together because of similarities , Lunar presented earthy, pale colours with fresh lines, while  Amanda Laird was feminine with added South African elegance. Clive Rundle on the other hand showed us personality in hes presentation, while still showcasing this seasons obvious leather trends.
